It’s Not Too Late to Celebrate the Cherry Blossoms
Ahhhh it’s my favorite time of year again (don’t be surprised if you see me type that a few more times this year. I’m fickle like that). Spring time in DC makes the dreariness of winter seem like a distant memory. The soft pastel pallet that is offered by the cherry blossoms makes my spirit smile. They are a reminder that every season has its purpose, that after the storm new things are born. The cherry blossom festival has been a coveted time for Washington for many years. I always take this time to expose my children to the cultural events the celebration has to offer and I hope you get to experience them as well. Don’t fret if you haven’t done any celebrating yet. The peak time of the blossoms is April 9th and the street parade is upcoming. Below is a list of events I think a lot of you will enjoy. And an added feature this year is Uber is offering pedicabs!!!!
